Perhentian Island is about 20 km north of the State of Kuala Terengganu. Perhentian Island has characterized by magnificent forests covering the whole island, white beaches, palm trees and coconut on its shores. Perhentian Island is also a refugee for some migratory birds from outside Malaysia and is widely seen on the island in seasons. The visitors can also dive in, see coral reefs, and go on trips around the island with one of the speedboats. The visitors can watch the small bays between the islands where visitors can swim. The beach has clear crystal waters and clean white sands. The beach has three diving schools and is a popular destination for recreational scuba divers. The island of Perhentian is very close to Redang Island, allowing visitors to visit places and exploring.
