Located on a hilltop in Teluk Yu, Langkawi, Malaysia.
The artisanal cultural complex is one of the most
magnificent and beautiful attractions in Malaysia on the
tourist island of Langkawi and is close to Pantai Pasir
Hitam Beach. The museum built to display the rich and
unique cultural heritage of Malaysia through handicrafts.
The museum has divided into several other sections
such as the Heritage Museum, the Royal Museum and
the Islamic Museum. These museums display the
different ethnic groups in Malaysia and their art pieces,
as well as a wide range of handcrafts (batik), silverware,
ceramics, baskets, jewellery, crystal and wooden products
with brief information about each piece and its history.
Watch live performances of traditional weaving methods
such as silk woven with gold and silver threads. Visiting
the museum is a great opportunity to see the Malaysian
heritage and its handicraft.
